What drivers need from a tyre shop website
A tyre shop in Finland lives with two rushes a year. In October and November everyone wants winter tyres on before the first icy morning, and in April and May the same people want them off again. Between those peaks the phone is quiet and the bays have room.
A driver visiting the site in late September has three questions. When can I get a slot, how much will it cost, and are my stored tyres still good for another winter? Tyre hotel customers add a fourth: where are my tyres, and do I need to bring anything?
So the website has to take bookings without phone calls, show which days are already filling up, publish clear prices including VAT, and give storage customers a way to check their own tyres. If the shop also services cars, the site should offer that at booking time, because the car is coming in anyway.
How the demo handles it
Uraveto Rengas & Huolto is a fictional business that VirtueInfo created for this demo. It is not a client, and its prices, phone number and sample reviews are examples. The demo is in Finnish and English, with Finnish pages at the root and the English version under /en.
The home page opens with a registration plate box styled like a Finnish number plate. Type a plate and the tyre hotel lookup returns the hall, rack and level where that set is stored, the tread depth of each of the four tyres, and a date by which the next change should happen. Tyres near the recommended limit show a yellow bar, and tyres at or below the legal minimum show a red one with a note. Three sample plates show good winter tyres, worn friction tyres and summer tyres that need replacing.
Below that sits a season gauge. It counts the days until 1 November, or the days left in the winter period, and shades October to November and April to May as changeover peaks. The text explains the current rule: winter tyres are required from 1 November to 31 March when conditions call for them.
The signature feature is the booking calendar on the tyre change page. It shows the next 18 working days, each with a load bar marked quiet, busy, very busy or full. Peak months and Saturdays run busier, and Saturdays offer only the shorter opening hours. A customer picks a service, enters a plate, ticks a box if the tyres are already in the hotel, chooses a 30-minute slot and sees a summary with the price before confirming.
The tyre hotel page explains what storage includes, from washing to a text reminder before the next season. The service and repair page lists scheduled servicing, brakes, air conditioning, diagnosis and alignment. The price list groups everything into three tables.
Local SEO built in
Every page carries schema.org data typed as both AutoRepair and TireShop, with opening hours, the city and the nearby towns served. Inner pages add Service and Offer data and breadcrumbs, the price list adds an OfferCatalog, and the home and tyre hotel pages carry FAQ data.
Page titles follow what people type, such as "renkaanvaihto Jyväskylä" and "rengashotelli Jyväskylä" in Finnish, and "tyre change Jyväskylä" in English. Muurame and Laukaa appear in the page text so the service area is readable. Name, hours and services match what you would enter in your Google Business Profile.
Fonts are self-hosted and the pages use no outside scripts, so they load quickly on a phone in a car park. We keep the Uraveto demo out of search because the business does not exist. Your own site launches fully indexable, with a sitemap ready for submission.
Notes for each market we serve
Finland
Tyre hotels are a Finnish habit, and the demo is built around local practice. We build in Finnish first, add English, and add Swedish where your customers use it. Prices go in euros including VAT, the business ID sits in the footer, and the legal tread minimums and winter tyre rule are stated in current terms. Text message reminders before each season matter here, so we connect the booking flow to the system that sends them.
India
Tyre shops in India sell new tyres, alignment and balancing rather than seasonal storage. We would drop the tyre hotel lookup, show rupee prices and add WhatsApp and UPI. The booking calendar still helps a busy alignment centre.
USA
Seasonal changeovers happen in northern states, and some shops offer storage. We use American spelling, dollar prices and a ZIP code service area.
Canada
Winter tyres and storage are common in Canada, so most of the demo carries over. We use Canadian spelling and dollars, and build a full French version for Québec.
Australia
Seasonal changes are rare, so the site would focus on tyre sales, fitting and alignment. Prices go in Australian dollars with GST, and the ABN goes in the footer.
What we deliver and how the project runs
We design the site to your brand rather than the Uraveto look, and write the service descriptions, storage terms and price list with you.
Bookings go to your email, your booking system or your CRM. The tyre hotel lookup can read from your storage records, and enquiries can also arrive by WhatsApp if your customers prefer it.
At hand-over you get the code, hosting and a short guide to updating prices and opening hours. We maintain the site, and before each changeover season we can run campaigns through our digital marketing services.
Tell us how many bays you run and whether you store tyres, and ask us for a quote.
