Website design for acrylic sheet manufacturers

We build websites for acrylic sheet manufacturers that answer thickness, size and price questions before the buyer picks up the phone. To show how, we built a working demo for Clearcast Acrylics, a fictional supplier in Ahmedabad.

Clearcast Acrylics is a fictional acrylic sheet manufacturer in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, created by VirtueInfo to show what we build. Designed and developed by our team.

What acrylic buyers need from a supplier's website

Most people who search for an acrylic sheet supplier already know the job in front of them. A sign maker needs 3 mm and 10 mm clear cast this week. A shopfitter needs fifty polished shelves cut from 5 mm sheet. An aquarium builder needs a 20 mm panel and wants someone to check the thickness against the water height before anything is cut.

They all want the same handful of answers: the grades you stock and in which thicknesses and sheet sizes, a rough sheet price before GST, whether you cut to size and how the edges are finished, how to send a drawing, and whether the quote shows GST and freight on separate lines.

A website that answers those questions in a few clicks saves your sales desk the same phone call twenty times a day. It also filters out buyers who need a grade you do not carry.

How the demo handles it

Clearcast Acrylics is a fictional business that VirtueInfo created for this demo. It is not a client, and its phone number, GSTIN and prices are placeholders. The site works fully, so you can use it the way a buyer would.

The home page is laid out as a grid of tiles: the thickness range drawn to scale, the two standard sheet sizes in feet and millimetres, a sample price, the four sheet families, cutting, applications and the steps of a bulk order. A buyer gets the shape of the business in one screen.

The products page covers cast, extruded, mirror, and coloured and frosted sheet, with a table comparing thickness, laser behaviour, bending and typical jobs. A buying guide explains when extruded sheet is good enough and when only cast will do.

The signature feature sits on the cast acrylic sheet page. Buyers filter a specification table by thickness and size, and each row shows the sheet in millimetres, its weight and a sample price. Picking a thickness draws its edge to scale and gives the weight per square foot. The filter is saved in the page address, so a buyer can send a colleague the exact rows. Each row has its own quote link.

The cut-to-size page compares laser cutting and CNC routing, explains saw-cut, diamond-polished, flame-polished and laser edges, and lists the drawing files to send. The applications page filters six uses (signage, displays, furniture, architecture, aquariums and retail fixtures) by sheet type.

The bulk quote form asks for sheet type, thickness, size, quantity, finish and delivery city. As the buyer types, a panel works out area and approximate weight, which tells your dispatch team early whether the order needs a pallet. The optional GSTIN field checks the format, and the mobile number field accepts Indian numbers with or without the country code.

Local SEO built in

The home page carries structured data using the schema.org LocalBusiness type with the business name, city, opening hours and contact details. Page titles match how buyers search, such as "acrylic sheet manufacturer Ahmedabad" on the home page and "acrylic cut to size Ahmedabad" on the cutting page.

The about page names the city, the hours and the areas you deliver to, and the same name, phone number and location go into your Google Business Profile so both agree. Product and thickness data is written as real HTML text, which search engines read more reliably than a price list in a PDF.

The site uses plain HTML, CSS and a small script, self-hosted fonts and drawings made in code instead of large photos, so it opens fast on a phone in a workshop. We keep the Clearcast Acrylics demo out of search, since the business does not exist. Your own acrylic sheet manufacturer website goes live fully indexable, with a sitemap submitted on day one.

Notes for each market we serve

India

The demo is already set up for India: Indian English, rupee prices before GST, UPI, NEFT and RTGS as payment options, and space for the GSTIN and Udyam number. Many workshop buyers send their sheet list on WhatsApp, so the button appears on every page. We can add Gujarati or Hindi pages if your buyers prefer them.

USA

We switch to American spelling, dollar prices and imperial sizes first, with millimetres alongside. Fabricators often call the material plexiglass or acrylic plastic, so the copy uses the words your buyers search with. Sales tax and freight are shown as separate lines on the quote.

Canada

We use Canadian spelling and Canadian dollars, and show sizes in both metric and imperial. For buyers in Québec we build a French version of every page. Your business number and GST or HST details go in the footer and on quotes.

Australia

We use Australian spelling and Australian dollars with GST shown clearly, and metric sizes throughout. Your ABN appears in the footer and on the quote page. Delivery content is organised by state, since freight is a large part of the cost.

Finland

We build the site in Finnish and Swedish, with English for export buyers, and show prices in euros with VAT separated for business customers. Your business ID goes in the footer. Metric sheet sizes are the default.

What we deliver and how the project runs

We design the site to your brand rather than the Clearcast look, and we build the product tables from your actual stock list, grades and cutting machines. Quote requests and drawings go to your email, WhatsApp or CRM, whichever your sales desk already uses.

When the data needs to stay in sync with your stock or price system, our custom application development team can connect the two. At hand-over you get the code, the hosting setup and a short guide to editing prices and sizes, and we can stay on for maintenance.

Send us your product list and the cities you supply, and ask us for a quote.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the website show our full thickness and size range without a long PDF?

Yes. The demo has a specification table with 36 rows of cast sheet, and buyers filter it by thickness and sheet size. Each row shows the size in millimetres, the weight and a sample price, with a quote link that fills in that line. We build the table from your own stock list, so updating it is a data change, not a redesign.

Can buyers send DXF drawings and handwritten lists through the site?

Yes. The cut-to-size page lists the file types you accept, such as DXF, DWG, AI, SVG and PDF, and asks for edges, holes and masking. Buyers can email the files or send a photo of a list on WhatsApp. On a live site we can add a file upload to the quote form as well.

Should an acrylic supplier publish sheet prices?

Many suppliers show sample "from" prices before GST and freight, because sign makers compare rates quickly. The demo does this with sample figures and says plainly that a written quote gives the exact amount. If your rates move with raw material costs, we can hide prices and keep the weight and size data.

Will the quote form work for B2B buyers who need a GST invoice?

Yes. The demo form has an optional GSTIN field that checks the 15-character format before the request is sent. The reply sets out sheet price, cutting, GST and freight on separate lines. Requests can go to your email, your WhatsApp number or your CRM.
