Context

As the name suggests VetNow is the best platform for patients who wants an urgent diagnosis of any ailments without running to the ER. Online consultations are done using video and chat and the application can be accessed through all mobile devices, laptops and computers.

Client Requirements

The founders had already a website running but they were facing major issues like disruption in video streaming and improper integration with Codonix. Our developers immediately acted on it and found out that the main reason was that all the data was jumbled up in one place. We fixed the ongoing issues on a urgent basis so that the owners can easily run their business and simultaneously developed separate modules for the major functionalities of the website. This made it easy for the owners to keep a track of the data in a systematic way and it fixed their video streaming and Codonix issues.

As it was a totally online platform, another requirement was to redirect the patients to the most preferred doctor as per the information given by the patients. We developed a system which runs on real time and notifies all the concerned doctors about a patient and sends their records to the doctor hence saving time and getting a proper diagnosis for the ailments.

Technology Used

The website is developed using PHP/Symfony Framework 2.7, MYSQL and Angular JS for the front end. Other technologies include Node JS, WebRTC, Codonix, Websocket, SOAP and REST API. For effective patient doctor communication Twilio is used for Video, chat and SMS. Integration with Stripe and Blufin was done for payment processing and we have also developed an IOS app for Iphone users.
