Context

Nettiaika is an online appointment booking system that is fitting for various industries such as Healthcare, Education System, opticians, beauty salons, Physiotherapy, hairdressers and many more. It's time booking software gives customers options to select preferable time and place across Finland at their convenience.

Client Requirements

Nettiaika's client wanted to develop a system which can be helpful to customers in scheduling appointments for various services across Finland. They wanted the system to cover all the major industries where it is mandatory to make a booking. The requirement was to effectively manage all timing and availability of resources and allot bookings on the basis of that.

They wanted a time booking software which can be used by customers to book appointments at any time and from any place across Finland. In addition to that they wanted to develop a tracking system so that both the customers and the reception can track the appointments in real time with the capability of confirming the appointments via email or mobile.

Technology Used

We developed the website using PHP Symfony Framework, Angular JS and MYSQL for open source database management system. Paytrail is used for payment gateway and Nexmo API was used for SMS. We integrated Google API and Google Maps in order to make the website more accessible.
